Welcome to hebrewandgreekreader brought to you by danielandtonya. This blog serves as another digital space for those who study Scripture, specifically, in Hebrew and Greek. We will offer perspectives on the Hebrew Bible, Greek New Testament, along with modern linguistic views which aid our reading. We will also offer book reviews (should publishers send them) on new works in biblical studies.
You got a commendation by John Hobbins so here I am. I read Hebrew slowly and Greek superficially, but I am very interested in how the Greek letter to the Hebrews reads the Psalms and other parts of TNK. I hope I will find some questions for you.
Welcome.
Bob,
You listen to good people! Glad you’re here.
I’ll have to post on MT/”LXX” readings and get your thoughts.
Sorry Bob. Misread your comment. But I’ll still post on MT/”LXX” stuff, and why I put “LXX” in quotes.
Tonya will soon be posting on Hebrews, as she is much better at Greek than me. I think she’ll start on ch 4.
